Deleting a project requires a code after the name confirmation. Use your authenticator if you have one enrolled; otherwise the confirmation dialog sends a code to your account email when it opens. Wrong codes can be retried. If asked to wait, follow the displayed delay before retrying or sending a new email code. Start again if the confirmation expires.
Project Settings → Danger zone is for lifecycle actions. Each destructive step uses a confirmation dialog; live published projects get extra warnings because buyers may still have the URL.
- Archive. Free the active-project allowance but keep data. The public attestation page goes offline too (buyers see a notice that it was taken offline); restoring and publishing again brings it back. Paid extra branch capacity remains billed until released from Billing. You can remove watched branches and release unused capacity there without restoring the project.
- Restore. Owners and admins can restore either kind of archived project. A never-activated project returns as a draft without using active-project capacity. A project activated by publishing or exporting returns as active, subject to paid capacity or free-plan rules. Restoring does not publish a public page.
- Delete. Permanently removes the project, inventory, snapshots, and public page. Type the project name to confirm.
